The view from our living room at Fort Worden was absolutely amazing, overlooking the beautiful grounds and water. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious breakfast at the on, site cafe. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our late check, in after the ferry arrival. We even had the pleasure of being greeted by a family of deer upon our arrival. the park, like environment and well thought, out areas managed by the non, profit organization made our stay even more enjoyable. The accommodations, which were once old office quarters, were fully stocked and well, maintained, making it a comfortable place to stay. Cons: Nothing could have been better! 😊.

The accommodations were rustic but clean and well-furnished. The kitchen was well-equipped and the dining room was great for sit-down dinners. The location offered beautiful views and plenty of places to wander. It was also conveniently close to restaurants and shops.

There was no coffee provided and a hairdryer was missing. The upstairs bathroom had limited lighting.

Beautiful grounds for hiking, close to water. Bar and restaurant on site. Accommodations well-maintained and fully stocked for cooking. Definitely worth a longer stay.

Our group had a blast at this historic location! The variety of activities kept everyone entertained and the bunkers were perfect for laser tag. The turn of the century feel of the buildings added to the charm and the grounds had plenty of walking trails to explore. The officers' housing had spacious rooms and a well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals.

The accommodations were a bit basic considering the price, so it's good to come prepared with spices and other cooking essentials. We also encountered some trouble at checkout with an unnecessary pet fee, which caused a delay in receiving our updated receipt.

I loved the beautiful surroundings and the unique charm of this historic destination. The upgrade offer with a nicer view was a pleasant surprise, and the fact that all fees go towards renovating the site made me feel good about supporting its preservation. staying an extra day allowed me to fully enjoy all that the property had to offer.

While the place was wonderful, I was disappointed to find that there were limited kid-friendly dining options nearby. The mess hall, although cool, catered to big groups, leaving little ones hungry until 1 p.m. for breakfast.

I had a delightful stay at a charming property near the beach and trails. The 2-bedroom unit was spacious and had all the necessary kitchen appliances. The location was perfect, being inside a state park and just a short drive to downtown. a great experience. Despite some drawbacks mentioned in the reviews, I would still recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing time at this unique retreat. The house was much larger and nicer than expected, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The town and surrounding trails offered breathtaking views of the mountains and coast. The drive from Seattle was scenic and easy.

Beautiful and peaceful location with a lot of open space and lovely views. Spacious and clean accommodations, with comfortable beds and quality bedding. Enjoyed the fact that there was no TV, which allowed for a break from technology. Great hiking trails and plenty of opportunities to see wildlife, such as deer. Professional check-in process added to the overall positive experience.

Weak WiFi signal and poor cell phone coverage, which made it difficult to stay connected. No condiments provided in the kitchen, such as salt and pepper.

My family and I recently stayed at Fort Worden for a family gathering. The spacious officers quarters provided ample room for all of us, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for local attractions. The grounds were well taken care of, and the historic location on the Western shore of the Olympic peninsula was truly a gem. The beds were comfortable, and the cleanliness of the rooms exceeded our expectations. We also appreciated the self-catering option, allowing us to prepare our own meals. our experience at Fort Worden was fantastic and the perfect setting for a memorable family vacation.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

A charming, historical setting with quiet surroundings. The canteen offered a great breakfast. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning, although we wished there was complementary coffee to go with the coffee maker. The location was very convenient.
